An art and music library inside a 1904 mansion that looks like nothing else in Los Angeles. Leslie C. Brand built Miradero in a Saracenic style borrowed from the East Indian Pavilion at the 1893 Chicago World’s Exposition, left it to the City of Glendale, and it became a public library in 1956. The 1969 addition brought a gallery, a recital hall and a sculpture court.
